Single-bay Internal enclosure compatible with MB559 Series

A very important question has come up with-in these couple of weeks that need to be addressed. It has been the case that some inquiring minds have asked about a single-bay internal enclosure compatible with the current 559 series. Here at ICYDOCK we ask ourselves,” why would anybody need an internal single bay solution that is interchangeable with the 559 series?” In comparing an internal and external single-bay solution it becomes abundantly clear that the eSATA transfer speed and internal SATA speed are the same. Both also support hot-swap capability.

MB561S-4S vs MB561U-4S

ICY DOCK would like to present two different type of the MB561. This is the perfect mass storage solution for the professional Photographer, Video Editor, Graphic Designer and Mass Media Manager. When secure data is a necessity our enclosure combined with a RAID card (of your choice) will keep all those video, photos, and graphics safe. It holds 4 HDD and is hot swap capable.

For the MB561U-4S (USB 2.0) with built-in enhanced JBOD function allows users to combine 2 or more HDD’s and have them recognized as one volume. This configuration gives the user the freedom to increase their storage capacity as needed.

The MB561S-4S is available now while the MB561U-4S will be available in summer 2007.
